Harts of Teal 5K and 1-Mile
This is a special year this year for our Color Run, this is the 5th Anniversary.
Come throw some COLOR in honor and memory of those special women in your life!
Our Mission at Harts of Teal:
We learned firsthand the importance of education and awareness. Many women experience the symptoms of ovarian and reproductive cancers, yet they are often dismissed.
We are motivated to equip women to be their own advocate: listen to your body and don’t ignore new and persistent symptoms.
Many reproductive cancers do not have screening available, so education of signs and symptoms remains at the forefront of early detection.
Pap smears only detect cervical cancer
Early detection is crucial to saving lives and catching these disease early- 80% of women diagnosed with these cancers are not diagnosed until late stages when the disease is harder to treat.
Our story has allowed us to connect with many others on the same journey.
We are so thankful for our supporters that help us to make our dreams of saving other women come true.
If you know someone one diagnosed with a gynecological cancer, such as ovarian, uterine/endometrial, vulvar, or cervical cancer, please share Harts of Teal with them. We would love to connect and send a Blessing Bag, as well as share our support environments.
Stay tuned for other Harts of Teal events coming to your town. Or better yet, we would love for you to join forces with us and host an event near you.

Feathers 5K Run & Walk
The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation's Feathers 5K is a community based and family friendly fund run and walk in which participants can "flock together" to help make the financial burden of cancer as light as a feather! The Feathers 5K will take place on Saturday, June 8th at 8:00 a.m. at Oglethorpe University. The Feathers 5K benefits the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to reduce the additional stress that a cancer diagnosis could bring by providing assistance to patients in financial need. ACCF is dedicated to providing this critical financial assistance to adults living with cancer across our 17-county metro Atlanta service area. In 2023, ACCF provided over $400,000 in assistance to more than 1,500 metro Atlanta cancer patients in need.
