Christina Latini Memorial 8K

Please join us as we celebrate Christina and support Operation Sweet Tooth at Grand Oak Elementary School.

As a parent, losing a child is unfathomable and every day we mourn our baby and question how this could happen to her. To help our grieving process and keep Christina’s spirit alive, we created a non-profit organization called Operation Sweet Tooth. Our mission is to honor Christina by supporting the youth of our community. Our goal is to raise funds, toys, personal items, and school supplies for the children in our community who are sick, impoverished, displaced, homeless, or just need their spirits lifted. It’s of great importance that we turn our pain into purpose, and support children in their times of need, reminding them there are strangers out there who do care.

We have donated 26 Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s) to the Town of Huntersville, the Town of Cornelius, Hinds Feet Farm, Charlotte Lab Schools, Hope House, Angels and Sparrows, Ada Jenkins Center, Journey Church and many more. One of our donations saved a life in North Mecklenburg Park in Huntersville on April 24, 2019!

We know there are many race options each weekend as we head into the Spring. We hope you consider participating in our race, to honor a little girl who was full of life until her last breath, as well as support Operation Sweet Tooth to assist children in our community who are less fortunate.

Quarry Crusher Run

Get Ready to ROCK the Quarry!

Welcome to the Quarry Crusher Run Concord! Do you think you have what it takes to run down massive declines into the earth and straight back up to the top? If you think you can challenge yourself to complete this feat, this is the race for you. This once-in-a-lifetime look inside a magnificent landscape that is prohibited to the general public will leave a lasting memory in addition to the aching of your muscles and bones. Unlike any other races, the Quarry Crusher Run allows private access into an exclusive landscape that will amaze each and every runner.

Once you’re in each quarry, the route will wind down an average of a 10% grade (expect as much as 18% in areas!) through granite cliffs to the quarry floor. The approximately 300-400 foot ascent from the quarry floor to the finish makes the grueling event one of the nation’s most challenging foot race.

This year's Quarry Crusher benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Carolinas, helping children facing adversities realize their potential and build their futures.
