The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is a physical and social MOVEment for acceptance! Our goal is to unite 1 million supporters of the Down syndrome community to say "We can and will accept you as you are!"

We are making one simple request to our participants: to get up and MOVE for acceptance! You can walk, run, jump, swim, ride, or play a sport; any type of physical movement can be done to show your support. The best part is anyone can participate! Every attendee will receive a T-shirt and a discounted admission to Zoo Atlanta with their race bib! During the event enjoy a live DJ, bounce houses, concessions by RISE coffee & tea, and an exciting awards ceremony!

In celebration of a more than 25-year legacy of care, global scientific advancements, and longtime conservation for a treasured species, this year’s featured species is the giant panda, in the home of the only zoo in the U.S. currently housing these beloved bears.

The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 3rd Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy.

All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer, a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.

We look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life of Catherine Williams.

Runners, walkers, and families are all encouraged to participate. Walkers are encouraged to register for the 5k distance.

The Snowball 5K is a great way to finish out the winter season. Our USATF certified course will wind you through the Etowah River Park location and back where we will have a fully stocked donut bar and hot chocolate bar with toppings waiting for you! True Speed Photo will be joining us to capture all of the Snowball 5K memories, and you can download them for FREE after the race. Your finish time can be used to qualify for The Atlanta Journal & Constitution Peachtree Road Race.

Each finisher receives a custom race bib, Snowball 5K hoodie sweatshirt, and the first 200 to register receive a finisher medal after crossing the finish line! This year's hoodie features a soft blend of cotton and polyester, with a front pouch pocket perfect for storage or keeping your hands warm. Unisex sizing.

The RUN FOR ANGELS has been our annual fundraiser since its inception in 2003. All proceeds go to the operation of our shelter for teenage girls.

Our course is certified as PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFIER, so the RUN FOR ANGELS is a highly respected and well-attended event attracting hundreds of participants from all over the southeast!

START 2 FINISH (ORION RACING), will once again, professionally manage our race using the latest RFID disposable start and finish chip-timing technology to ensure the most accurate instant finish times possible! These precise times will be displayed on a flat screened television at the finish line. This system will also allow us to prepare for our awards ceremony quickly! Your race times will be emailed to you and will be available on our website!

The 5K run starts at 4:30pm and takes place on the beautiful campus of Life University during their annual holiday light show! As the run progresses, the sun will go down and the lights will come on!

After the run, stay and enjoy the holiday festivities, with caroling, hot cocoa, FREE photography, music, and FREE ENTRY into the Lights of Life!

Dress in holiday gear and add the festivities! We will play a mix of holiday music with our regular faves.

The annual Paideia Slither 5K course runs through the beautiful Candler Park neighborhood. The race begins and ends on the Paideia campus. Race begins at 8:00 am. A short Tot Trot on South Ponce is available for kids 7 and under after the completion of the 5K. The Paideia community, family, friends, neighbors, walkers, first time racers, and strollers are ALL welcome! (No dogs, please.)

Proceeds from the race benefit the Paideia financial aid fund.
All runners registered by October 27, 2023 will be guaranteed a race t-shirt.

Lace up your shoes for a Fun Run and/or the 5K, which is an official qualifying event for The Atlanta Journal & Constitution Peachtree Road Race. The Dyslexia Dash 2023 can be run as an in-person race or as a virtual race.   You choose whichever one works for you. 

The in-person races will be held on October 21, 2023 at Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA, 30346.  The race will begin in the parking lot near the Von Maur store. The Dyslexia Dash will include both a 5km run and 1 mile kids run for those with big hearts but little legs (children ten years of age and under). The 1 mile kids run begins at 8:00 am.  The 5km run begins at 8:30am. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the race.  There will also be a kids play area, a disc jockey, an awards ceremony and sponsors tents to visit.

The second annual Ride for the Westside is a new run/walk/bike for a cause event to benefit Quest CDC and Westside Future Fund (WFF). Both organizations are working to bring affordable housing and economic justice to legacy communities on Atlanta’s Historic Westside. This event brings Atlantans from all walks of life together to get active and connect to benefit the Beloved Community in the cradle of the civil rights movement.

Ride for the Westside will take place on Saturday, September 30th from 8:00 am to noon with festivities beginning and ending at the WFF Campus at 970 Jefferson Street, NW Atlanta.

The event includes a secure 11-mile bike loop, a Heritage Walk highlighting neighborhood points of interest, and a 5k run (which is also a 2024 Peachtree Road Race qualifier).

Harvest Hustle 5K is the third race of the 2023 Kennesaw Grand Prix Series.

Both our 5K and Fun Run courses bring you from the street to the trail on the west side of Murphey Candler Lake, and back to the park where the Fun Run ends. The 5K continues on Candler Lake East through the beautiful neighborhoods and ends at the park entrance.

All proceeds will be used to support the Brookhaven Police Department's "Shop with a Badge" Christmas Program. The Shop with a Badge or similarly named programs are held in numerous law enforcement agencies across the country. All funds raised through race registration fees, donations, and corporate sponsorships will be divided up equally among our city's underprivileged children. The children will be escorted by participating police officers, sheriff's deputies, troopers, and other first responders to pick out much-needed items and maybe a toy or two. Your participation is deeply appreciated and will bring a smile to a child's face as they are able to experience the joy of opening gifts on Christmas morning.

Get off the hot beaten pavement and come spend a beautiful July morning running or walking the serene trails at Still Family Farm, right outside Atlanta GA, in support of The Fibroid Pandemic's 2nd Annual Run F.A.R. 5K run/Walk for FIBROID AWARENESS & RESOURCES. The award ceremony will be held immediately following the 5K. The Run F.A.R. 5K was created to help humans with a uterus make informed decisions as they embark on their journey to healing uterine fibroids. Your support of our event will help raise funds to provide education on the available resources to overcome uterine fibroids. A portion of the proceeds will go to Pad the Pandemic, a 501(c)3 nonprofit developed with the vision to help eliminate period poverty and unnecessary hysterectomies.

The Atlanta Pride Run returns on June 4, 2023 both in-person and virtual!

The Atlanta Pride Run is a charity 5K walk and run dedicated to uniting the community to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by HIV. This event is for every one of every ability and a great time to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community. And yes, we are a Peachtree Qualifier race!

The FEATHERS 5K is a community based and family friendly FUNDraiser event in which participants can “flock together” to help make the financial burden of cancer as light as a feather!

The 5K run/walk will be held on the beautiful campus of Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven, Georgia. There will be a short distance "fun run" for young children who are not participating in the 5K race.  This rain or shine event will include snacks, beverages, participant t-shirts, and medals for the top finishers. 

The Brookhaven Bolt is a 5K Run/Walk/Stroller push through one of Brookhaven’s most beautiful neighborhoods, Ashford Park. The 2023 race will be held on Saturday, May 20th with an 8am start time. All proceeds from this annual event go to support Ashford Park Elementary School.

The Fit City 5K is the opening race of the 2023 Kennesaw Grand Prix Series.

Ready, get set... charge! Run through the Zoo at the third-annual Run Like Wild 5K! This is Atlanta’s only 5K race where you might catch a glimpse of giraffes, elephants, or gorillas!

Show us your wild side, dress up in your finest stripes, spots or feathers, and let’s run for the reticulated giraffe, this year’s spotlighted species! All proceeds support Zoo Atlanta’s superior animal care and education and conservation programs.
