Bootlegger Trail Run
The 8th annual Bootlegger 10K trail run will be held on Sunday, February 9th, on upper Creve Coeur Park's Bootlegger's Run trail, which gets its name from the area's notorious reputation during Prohibition. According to one account, "Prohibition brought gamblers and gangsters back and clubhouses, roadhouses, and the notorious Creve Coeur Hotel provided havens for crime.” Another history offers, "Around the 1920's the area began to decline in popularity as gangsters and hoodlums began to frequent the saloons, restaurants, and nightclubs located at the lakefront. By the end of Prohibition, Creve Coeur was almost exclusively a gangster hideout." Today, Creve Coeur Park has regained its pre-Prohibition notoriety as a beautiful locale for enjoying nature. It is regularly filled with St. Louisans running or biking the trails, riding zip lines at Go Ape, sailing or rowing on the lake, or simply having a picnic.
The beautiful Bootlegger 10K course is primarily single-track trail and includes plenty of turns, switchbacks, and hills. Look closely and you may see remnants of the Creve Coeur Lake streetcar line that brought ne'er-do-wells to the area during Prohibition. Add winter weather to that mix and the Bootlegger 10K will surely test your will against Mother Nature at her toughest.
All registrants receive a custom finisher medal, and the option to purchase a commemorative hoodie. Finishers can enjoy snacks and post-race beer.

Since 2008, runners from across the St. Louis area have gathered for the annual Shamrock Run in Cottleville, and this year, we're coming back bigger and better than ever. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun family event, this 5K promises an unforgettable experience.
Race your way through an enchanting course that takes you through a beautiful park, over a whimsical stream, and past serene, slumbering lakes—it's a scenic adventure from start to finish! And of course, there’s the coveted green fire helmets waiting for top finishers. So, what are you waiting for? Get your green on, lace up those shoes, and join us for a race that’s about more than just running—it’s about having fun, celebrating community, and making a difference.
After you cross the finish line, stick around for post-race festivities, including donuts and cold beers to celebrate your achievement! It’s the perfect way to cap off a fun-filled morning with friends and family.
But the best part? Every step you take helps support the Cottleville Firefighters Outreach, a vital organization dedicated to supporting our community. Proceeds from the event help fund crucial programs like providing winter coats for children in need, offering shelter to families after a fire, and delivering thoughtful gift baskets to cancer patients. Your participation makes a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
So grab your running gear, wear your favorite shade of green, and make this Shamrock Run your most memorable yet. We can't wait to see you there!
Chain of Rocks 6K
The Chain of Rocks Bridge is an iconic bridge on the famous Route 66, also known as the Mother Road. This 6K race starts and finishes at the foot of the Chain of Rocks Bridge on the Illinois side. This unique event allows runners to participate with their local running clubs or as an individual. Proceeds from the event benefit the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation.
At Spewak Racing, we are all about building community and this running event is for EVERYONE! We're putting on a race that all runners can enjoy, whether you are a competitive runner or new to running. As a 501c3 non profit organization, Spewak Racing is running towards more than PRs--we are running for a better St. Louis. We firmly believe that the St. Louis running community has the power to change lives and advocate for more equity and inclusivity in our region. We know there are many people in our community that face barriers to running, which we want to minimize. Every penny of proceeds from your race entry goes back to helping our community.
Bridge the Gap to Health
Join us for the QMG Foundation’s Bridge the Gap to Health Race on Saturday, May 10 as we celebrate a momentous 25 years of bridging gaps in the community! To mark this milestone, this year’s race will raise funds for a new industrial-grade truck for Horizons Social Services, a local soup kitchen and food pantry. Additionally, a portion of the funds raised will support the QMG Foundation’s ongoing initiatives to provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that directly impact our community, focusing on community development, health and youth initiatives.
Participate in the 5K Walk/Run, 10K, Half Marathon, or Paul Arndt Kids Fun Run. Head across the Bayview Bridge into Missouri, then circle back across Memorial Bridge into Illinois, hitting two states in one race! To commemorate this historic year, we are also running through Maine Street once again and around Washington Park, taking in the beauty of Downtown Quincy!

The Market Mile is a community-based, one-mile walk/run that invites you to give back and have fun doing it!

Run for ALD, Cure the Boys
Knockout ALD is proud to present our 8th Annual Run for ALD, Cure the Boys on Nov. 23rd, a 5K/1 mile run/walk homegrown event, (with a virtual option!) the only one of its kind in the St. Louis area that raises awareness and funds for adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).
• What is ALD? ALD is a very progressive rare disease that most severely affects about 1 in 17,000 boys, many of whom suffer severe neurological symptoms that often result in death if undiagnosed and not treated very early.
• Why? Our event is inspired by the vision of our son Nicholas who had a successful bone marrow transplant to halt the progression of his cerebral ALD at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital (a world leader in transplants and ALD research). 100% of the funds raised from our event will directly benefit the University of Minnesota's Leukodystrophy Center for ALD Research to support their research efforts for early identification, more effective therapy and treatment options, and hopefully one day a cure for this devastating disease.

Timber 'N' Trails 10K Trail Run
The event features a 10K(ish) mile course that takes runners through some of the most picturesque areas of the park. Runners typically experience explosive fall foliage and cooler fall temperatures. The course will begin and finish near the race headquarters at the beautiful stone lakeside pavilion. Heading out on the course in waves of 25-35 people every couple minutes, participants can expect rolling dirt hills mixed with rocky patches, great scenic views from all angles around the lake, and open fields with tall grass, before heading back into the woods.
The course offers new challenges for every level. Competitive runners can let loose and move into a flow around twists and turns without worrying about difficult climbs. Novice runners will get a taste of a semi-fast course while enjoying awesome scenery.
